"That year, I felt very successful. My partner, Edgar Sosa, was beating the white belts everywhere. He was happy in Las Vegas, in Mississippi. And I could go out there and beat the white belts because I had on the inside strength to fight against the white belts. But in Thailand, I was still learning."
